For research center Oostende Belgium Stima Metal supplied a heavy duty watertight door. This door is bolted to concrete in order to prevent flooding in case of bottom glass breaking.
This concrete test center has a bottom of glass so research can be done from below on ship behavior whilst sailing. The testing facility measures 174×20 meter.
